EC Ma Ndryshe held a public discussion with the citizens of South Mitrovica, during which various topics related to the Pledge Charter signed by the Mayor of South Mitrovica, Mr. Bedri Hamza, during the pre-election campaign for the 2021 municipal elections were discussed.

The discussion covered general issues such as social dialogue, dignified work for women, men, and youth at the local level, as well as environmental and public health protection.

Out of a total of 33 signed pledges, according to the latest monitoring by civil society, the mayor has fulfilled 5 of them (15%), 17 are in progress (52%), and 11 (33%) have either not started or shown no progress.

EC Ma Ndryshe, together with Democracy+, will continue monitoring these pledges to hold the signed members accountable and ensure that a greater number of them are fulfilled.
