Hundreds of Students in Prizren and Gjakova Informed About the “School of Activism for Environment”

Hundreds of high school students from the municipalities of Prizren and Gjakova have participated in informational sessions organized by EC Ma Ndryshe, with the aim of engaging young people in issues related to environmental protection and climate change.
The information sessions were held in ten educational institutions, involving students from the tenth and eleventh grades, with a special focus on environmental education, the promotion of sustainability values, and the introduction of the “Environmental Activism School”—an initiative aimed at turning youth into strong voices for environmental protection in their communities.
Specifically, the “School of Activism for Environment” will provide a platform for training and engagement, equipping young people with knowledge and practical skills to take concrete action in the field of environmental protection and to promote positive change in their schools and neighborhoods.
This activity is part of the project “Green Horizons – Green Transition Initiative by Youth and the Community in Western Kosovo,” implemented by EC Ma Ndryshe as a partner of Care International Balkans, with the support of the European Union and co-implementation by Syri i Vizionit.
The project aims to empower youth and the local community through activities that promote environmental protection and the transition toward a more sustainable and greener future.
The project’s activities extend to the municipalities of Prizren, Gjakova, Peja, North Mitrovica, and South Mitrovica, focusing on the education and engagement of youth and the community through various initiatives.
