EC Ma Ndryshe marked World Bee Day with two educational and awareness-raising activities held in Pristina and Prizren.

At the “Cicërimat” kindergarten in Pristina, an activity was organized for preschool children, where presentations highlighted the importance of bees for biodiversity and environmental balance. Current environmental challenges and ways to care for nature were also explained. The activity concluded with the installation of an insect hotel in the kindergarten yard, serving as a concrete step toward nature protection and biodiversity promotion.

Meanwhile, at the “Gani Saramati” lower secondary school in Prizren, an insect hotel was installed, followed by an educational visit for students to a local apiary. During this visit, students were informed about bees and their crucial role in preserving the ecosystem.

Both activities were the result of collaboration and shared ideas developed during meetings with representatives from educational institutions. Through these initiatives, EC aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and biodiversity.
